Two years after Yakuza 4′s Japanese release, we are at last hearing more details about the next game in the series, Yakuza 5. The biggest piece of news?
Haruka, Kazuma’s adorable loli daughter is now a playable character. One can only hope she smashes face into concrete as well as her adoptive father does.
This brings the total number of playable characters to five, as the rest of the main cast from Yakuza 4 return.
The Developers at SEGA took double the time to work on this latest installment, and not only is the game running on an entirely new engine, the game will now allow the exploration of five different cities, and finally feature seamless transitions from bloody brawls to lazy gangster loitering.
Yakuza 5 is expected to release sometime in December for Japan. As for the west? If previous games are any indication, not for a long, long time.
